I have officially been in Illinois for way too long. I caved and picked up a new Illinois state ID. Makes me a bit uneasy. I am ready for the west coast again..

I love this photo of Tim Kinsella. This man has done so much for my taste in music and influenced my outlook on how music should be created. Since the first time I heard Cap’n Jazz-Analphabetapolothology my mind has been completely blown. Growing up in Chicago surrounded by all the Kinsella projects is something I am utterly grateful for. I couldn’t imagine any better musical scene to be a apart of. Make Believe, Owen, American Football, Joan of Arc, Owls and others are all incredible, so well put together.

Late night rants about the music I love. Entertaining? I think not.

These bad boys were given to me last night by my wonderful friend Pete. Thursday night (after the Furnace show at Summer Camp of course) we get our metal on. Stoked.
