I’m okay with my first draft of the year. Could have done a bit better of a job. Not fun starting the first round with the last pick. Let’s see how draft number two goes.
Today we announced that Into It. Over It. (Evan Weiss) will be going out on a 7+ week tour with Frank Turner and Andrew Jackson Jihad this Fall. We also announced that Evan will be recording a new record with one of my (our) favorite producers Ed Rose (The Get Up Kids, The Anniversary, The Appleseed Cast, Coalesce, Casket Lottery and more). The album is slated for a fall release on No Sleep Records.
Its going to be a big year for IIOI and I couldn’t be happier. We’ve been working together for a few years now and its starting to really take off. Its nice working with one of your best friends and seeing his hard work and dedication pay off. No one deserves it more than he.

Perfect weekend. Good friends, good conversations, good times. I forgot how much fun living here can be. Its nice to go to bed feeling optimistic again.
For the record, I’ve listened to this one new Aficionado song about 25 times straight. Literally a perfect jam. I love them dearly and this new record is going to blow you away.
